Emergency Information

Emergency school closing announcements are posted on this page and the website ticker. Announcements are also made by using the school's voice mail message (718.987.8100) and the following local radio stations: WCBS (880 AM), WOR (710 AM), and WINS (1010 AM). The school's Emergency Telephone Broadcast System also calls all families at 6AM.

• The Academy will automatically close if the New York City public schools close.
• The Academy, if open, will remain open until the normal end of the school day.
• The Academy has instituted a delayed opening procedure for those days when weather conditions are difficult at regular morning travel time, but are expected to quickly improve.
