Orchestra and Chorale Groups

There are a host of music ensembles to choose from at the Academy.There is a place for everyone who desires to sing or play a musical instrument regardless of level of experience. Our goal is to develop each student's unique talents and foster self-confidence.

Concert Choir: This four part vocal ensemble meets twice a week during the school day. Students perform in two major concerts as well as various other performances during the year. Works performed range from classical to popular.

Something Musical: This boy's ensemble meets weekly. The ensemble performs in the annual Holiday and Spring concerts and at various school functions. Something Musical has performed the Star Spangled Banner at Shea Stadium for the NY Mets. This ensemble performs more popular song literature.

Sweet Harmony: This girl's ensemble meets weekly. The ensemble performs in the annual Holiday and Spring concerts and various school functions. This ensemble performs more popular song literature.

Orchestra: Orchestra meets three times a week. Students perform in two major concerts and at various other performances throughout the year.

Upper School Musical Production
Don't miss the Upper School drama production! Our talented Upper School students are performing on Friday, December 7th at 8:00 pm, Saturday, December 8th at 8:00 pm. Contact:

Grade 7 & 8 Musical Production and Art Exhibit
Our Middle School students are performing on Friday, May 16th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, May 17th at 3:00 PM. Grade 7 and 8 Art Work will be on display in Haugen Hall. Contact:
